Peddling for Domestic Violence Awareness

A Big Thank You to Val Mackintosh

Val from the Tablelands has raised $4,464 for The Womens Centre Atherton and CRDVS Tablelands. Val's 700km bike journey through Victoria in April raised over $1,700 and recently $2,750 was donated to Val's campaign from five students of St. Stephens Catholic College in Mareeba, who won a local competition/project about the effects of domestic and family violence on young people and their community. Thank you to Val, the students from St. Stephens, Mareeba Community Housing and all the businesses and individuals who supported Val's ride and in turn helped us to provide financial and material support to victims experiencing domestic and family violence.
